TERMS & CONDITIONS

At food by laura palmer we fully understand how important your event is to you – and that our success is wholly based on your complete satisfaction with our services. That's why we've set out our terms and conditions clearly here. By commissioning our services you agree to be bound by the below.

Our Quote:
After discussing with you by phone, email or in person, food by laura palmer will provide you with a menu/choice of menus for your event along with an individual written quotation. This may vary per menu choice and will remain valid for your event date. In the instance that your event brief alters in any way, including number of guests, event date, event location, menu content and staffing requirement, it may be necessary to provide you with a new quote to replace our initial one. Should a specific ingredient become unavailable at short notice, food by laura palmer reserves the right to replace it with a suitable replacement – where the ingredient is detailed on the menu as a key component, the Client's agreement will be sought over the replacement.

Deposit:
Once you've decided on a menu and date for your event we'll ask for a deposit. This is usually 20%, however could be up to 50% of the total cost of your event, depending on factors such as specifically sourced ingredients and/or equipment hire. Should you fail to supply the deposit by the date requested, food by laura palmer reserves the right to cancel the booking. When you confirm your booking, either in writing or by way of a deposit, you agree to the payment terms detailed below.
